Right - thanks for the correction. In addition, they were US dollars, and not euros. I've also changed the illustration with the Blik in Ukraine.

CME makes Bulgarian acquisition

CME is buying 80% of TV2 (a national terrestrial channel started in 4Q07) and of Ring TV (a sports cable channel) in Bulgaria, for USD 172 mil cash (before adjustments). The deal is set to close within two weeks.
This is CME's first new market entry for three years. CME's stated target is to achieve Bulgarian market leadership within five years, through the development of local programming and synergies with the Romanian business. TV2 is still in a very early phase of operations. It has 70% technical reach of the country and is one of four national free-to-air channels, one of which is a state-owned channel.
CME is retaining the existing owner, Krassimir Guergov, as a consultant; CME and he both have call (CME; 14%)/put (Guergov; 20%) options over most/all of the remaining 20% from 2013. The Bulgarian TV ad market was USD 168 mil net last year, and CME thinks its CAGR will be 20% over the next four years.

ROMANIA MUST NOT CONTINUE TO SUBMIT TO FBI/CIA RULE

fbi and cia "PRIORITIES" AND * "MISSION".
The following statements by the fbi and the cia are their public statements of their "PRIORITIES" AND * "MISSION".

"FBI Investigators with FBI seal in the backgroundFollow the links below for details on each of our investigative priorities."

• Terrorism
• Counterintelligence
• Cyber
• Public Corruption
• Civil Rights
• Organized Crime
• White Collar Crime
• Major Thefts/Violent Crime
--------------------------------------------------------------------
cia:

"The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is an independent US Government agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior US policymakers."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sosbee writes:

FOR THOSE ACQUAINTED WITH THE EVIL MEN AND WOMEN IN THESE TWO CORRUPT AGENCIES THE FOLLOWING CONCLUSIONS ARE CLEAR:

The fbi and the cia engage in criminal offenses of the macabre type in each and every category listed above, both in foreign and domestic operations; they do so with complete and total independence from governmental oversight; the Congress and the Courts (and the mainstream media) publicly aid and secretly abet these assassins and torturers in their global crime spree of torture, imprisonment, and murder .
Regarding the above list of priorities the following information is noted:

• Terrorism- Both the fbi and the cia are together the most serious threat to Mankind
• Counterintelligence- The two groups are experts in terrorizing, torturing and killing the Target by high tech methods (including space based weaponry & advanced bio/chem/viral new science) and by low minded street thugs in their employ as operatives.
• Cyber- Both agencies use Cyber as a tool for the planned total subjugation of human beings on earth and space permanently.
• Public Corruption-By selective prosecution, the fbi and the cia insures that friends will be protected, especially those in Congress, the Courts, and key employees in the executive and administrative departments and agencies.
• Civil Rights- The fbi's charade of investigating civil rights violations are more and more apparent as the people's rights are violated across the land every day by police, fbi, and cia outrageous trangressions.
• Organized Crime-The fbi and the cia are preeminently organized crime; their snitches, informants and assassins on the street (and a few others) know this.
• White Collar Crime- The fbi and the cia often wear white shirts in public to obscure their dark and homicidal personal characters.
• Major Thefts/Violent Crime- Both the fbi and the cia benefit from and relish violence and these government agencies often provoke violence in order to arrest or murder their Targets.

Finally, short of international criminal and civil courts convening to put thousands of members of the United States government (and popular media) on trial for crimes against Humanity, the world's population has no viable peaceful recourse against the government beasts whom I and others describe in our websites, etc.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
*The real fbi/cia mission is total subjugation of people on earth and space permanently.See recent USA threats of 'obliteration' of countries like Iran, Syria, North Korea, etc.,when freedom fighters resist control by the USA or Israel.

fair enough. the distinction quite an esotheric matter, whats important is the practical implications. im not familiar with copyright legislation with regard to aggregators (if any, that is), though, and here it could be important to precisely define what is and isnt content aggregation.
so is he (getting involved in the content business)?

Mihai: you are right, the real opposition is somewhere between the oldskool content consumer, which is passive and generic - the reader of the general interest newspapers e.g. The new type of consumer is active - either involved in content production, or selecting his or her own interest area via tricks like rss readers, Google news customizations a.s.o.

Speaking of what 'is' and what 'is not' an aggregator or a content producer, once again, I don't believe the distinction is that important. I would rather try and find the reasons for the success of this or that initiative. Several months ago I had a brief discussion with Calin Fusu from Neogen. At first, he said he wouldn't get involved in content business, which he sees as very different from what Neogen does - roughly conform to the Google model. I replied that News.Google.com is also some kind of content business. He agreed.

haha, so basically, since everyone (in every medium) is putting out the same stories coming from the same sources, everyone is more or less aggregating. i can see where you're coming from

but inkeeping with your distinction of information (free) vs paid-for content (which i found quite interesting), i suppose one could look at the widely distributed product of news agencies as some kind of subclass of information, one that you pay for.

so if you define (modern) aggregation as "synthesis or hierarchy", custom-made for each particular end-user (or a particular class of end-users), then big traditional, print newspapers do not aggregate, but produce content (starting from information or even content produced by others).
